Review by hotel critic
During our recent New Year's escapade, the Hotel Dei Dragomanni in Venice was a revelation. Nestled just a stone's throw from St Mark's Square, it perfectly balances modern luxury with an elegant nod to history, reminiscent of the days of a grand Venetian palazzo. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, embodying the renowned Italian hospitality I hold dear, always ready to point me towards the best spots for a romantic dinner or insightful cultural excursions. Our room, while not overly spacious, was adorned with delicately crafted Murano glass touches, which spoke volumes about Venetian artistry. Each morning began with a splendid breakfast, featuring a delightful selection of cakes and cheese that made you feel right at home. the unique double helix staircase was an intimate feature that truly set this hotel apart, allowing us to step into our own slice of Venice without crossing the main lobby. For families like ours, the option for communicating rooms is a wonderful touch, making it easy to enjoy both privacy and connection. If you're seeking a spot where elegance meets accessibility, Hotel Dei Dragomanni is an enchanting choice I wholeheartedly recommend!
